Seventeen-year-old Bunny Adebayo (or Ebunoluwa, if you can bother to pronounce it) didn't join the Echo House to make friends. So far, they haven't.

As the token black resident of the LA content house, they know their place: post, perform, repeat. Frankly, they're more concerned with kick-starting their music career than whatever cliquey mind games their colleagues are playing this week. The only exception is Mikayla Marks- online royalty, offscreen situationship, and possibly the only one who can see them. Going on not-dates with a questionably straight girl isn't a lot, but it's enough to keep Bunny sane.

But when Mikayla goes missing and Bunny becomes the prime suspect, things spiral fast– from cancellation to cop cars to something a little more eternal. In their search for Mikayla, Bunny uncovers the Echo House's biggest secret: its influencers are in a pact with an angel they only refer to as the Manager for their fame.
